The fresco titled "The Young Boxers of Akrotiri", dating from around 1500 BC, formerly located on the first floor of House B in Akrotiri and now preserved at the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, adorned the south wall of the room, alongside other works in a similar style.
It depicts two young boys engaged in the practice of boxing.

Represented in profile, they have shaven heads, with the exception of two long hair tentacles extending down their backs and two smaller ones above their foreheads.
Both are simply dressed with a belt at the waist and hold a boxing glove in their right hand.
Their widely exaggerated eyes, typical of modern Aegean frescoes, add an expressive dimension to their faces.
The bent legs and arched backs, particularly on the boy on the right, infuse movement and vibrancy into the composition.
The boy on the left wears jewelry (a necklace, an armband, and a ring), while his opponent appears to be devoid of any ornamentation.
This distinction, clearly intentional, suggests a difference in social status between the two figures.
